Homeschooling

“Homeschooling makes children more socially awkward.”

I agree with this to some extent. It seems to be true that children who grow up in only their houses without interacting with other people, particularly if they are in their childhood, definitely I think they tend to become more introverted and less patient in comparison with children who normally go to school and play with friends. Although some parents also understand these negative effects and they would make as much opportunities for their children to improve their social skills as possible by introducing private tutors or housekeepers, these are not what children are looking for. I don’t think children who are raised by only familiar people could acquire essential skills or knowledge which are required for all the adults to get through long adults lives.

“Homeschooled children are shy.”

I don’t think all the children are necessarily shy. Generally, it seems to be true that children are more likely to behave more shyly than ordinal children. However, I guess whether they turned out to become shy or not seems to rely on environment where they grow up or how parents bring up them. As long as for parents being careful about environment, I believe children also become more positive and outgoing.
