SHOULD ANIMALS BE USED FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH?

Animals should be used for medical .
I agree with this to some extent. This is a controversial issue so it is hard to decide immediately if it is correct or wrong but for medical reasons we can’t help using animals at least with current technology. If we don’t use animals at all as medical subjects, it means that we have to try new medicine or new technique on people from the beginning and this is something that shouldn’t be. Of course, we can’t say using animals is appropriate and also we have to make sure all the things to be used to animals are safe more carefully in advance. However, it is also true that without animals we couldn’t have had advance in medical.

It is considered animal cruelty.
I would say it is definitely cruelty for animals. However, as I talked earlier, this is not a issue which can be easily distinguished between cruelty or not. We can’t help relying on animals in order to test medicine before we give them to patients because we are unsure about efficacy or side effects. We need animals to secure safety and confirm that people become better by using them. It is not easy to convince ourselves of doing so but we need it to do something new.
